We can spend 787 Billion dollars on a "stimulus" bill, which is not a stimulus bill, but all of a sudden people are completely out of thier minds about 165 Million dollars spent at AIG? Spending that was approved by the Government? By the way, AIG got about 45 Billion dollars in TARP money, for which they pay interest by the way. The rest of the 130 Billion dollars or so came from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which is not a government owned institution and does not use taxpayer money.
